Crossroads DTS (CDTS) is YWAM’s primary discipleship training program designed specifically for people aged 30 and above. It is a unique opportunity for those who are seeking to know God on a deeper level and who long to know God’s heart, be immersed in His presence, increase in Christian character, and to become involved in missions.
Know God
The first 12 weeks of the school is in-reach development. This is designed for you to have time alone with God, interact with a small group and participate in dynamic lectures. This phase focuses on training and equipping you through providing sound theological teaching, given by speakers from New Zealand and across the world to share teaching on a range of topics.
make him known
We want to equip you to reach the lost, care for the poor and needy, and convey Jesus’ message to a world who needs to know Him. After lecture phase, students are sent out on an 8 week mission across New Zealand or elsewhere in the world focused on partnering with God to reach out to the lost.
This DTS experience will definitely be a transformational journey in every way thinkable. We invite you to be revived and refreshed spiritually and experience healing and restoration of the heart, body and spirit. go deeper in your walk with God. Come and be challenged and inspired and continue to grow in the call of God upon your life. CDTS is for you, whether you are being called into missions long-term, or be a missionary disciple where He has placed you. You can partake in helping to establish His Kingdom and fulfil His mandate by drawing closer to God in any season of life. Renew your vision. Strengthen your faith. Change the world. The CDTS emphasizes 3 themes for your school. Each theme will provide opportunity for development, enjoyment and growth in intimacy with God for you during your school.
Adventure
Spend part of your DTS out in nature with activities such as sailing, hiking, canyoning, paddle boarding and surfing with a evangelistic approach!
Prayer & Worship
Come and seek the heart of God for prayer and worship. We will dive into what it looks like to partner with God in songs, prophetic worship, intercessory worship, & praying without ceasing. In John 15:15, Jesus says He no longer calls us his servants, but calls us His friends. Through listening, worshiping and talking with God, we develop a deeper relationship with Him.
Prophetic
Discover the heart and intimacy of God through the prophetic while also learning to impact nations with the creativity of prophetic gifts.
